SIMSA Roundtable Event with K+S Potash Canada – More Success

November 18, 2025

A full event summary is HERE

260 registered persons from the Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Supplier Association’s (SIMSA’s) membership, met with 20 key purchasing-related persons from K+S Potash Canada for an entire day, on November 17, 2025. This was yet another great Roundtable event hosted by SIMSA, but this time the mining-company (K+S) paid all the event’s costs, so it was free for members to attend. The focus was K+S’ “Ramp Up” program.

The SIMSA K+S Roundtable event

As with all Roundtable events, a list of K+S employee attendees is posted on the SIMSA website prior to the event and at the event so SIMSA members know who they should expect to see. Then at the event, the list is posted at the door with each name having a designated table number marked beside it. Once entering the room, SIMSA members can choose who to sit with on a first-come first-serve basis, so they can have some extra time during the event with them, and be able to quickly located that key person. During the networking sessions, all persons mingle throughout the room. SIMSA’s Roundtable events are for “members only” and have been the Association’s key growth factor.

As with all events, the presentation decks were shared with attendees as PDFs following the event. Which is a good thing given K+S had prepared 60 detailed slides, including conceptual animations of the various proposed projects.
