A who’s who of Saskatchewan oil sector attended the 5^th Annual Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Supply Chain Forum. The supply chain heard from and/or met-with the procurement staff and executives from; Crescent Point, DEEP, Federate Co-op, Husky, Kingston Midstream, Schlumberger, Stantec, Teine, TC Energy, and Worley Parsons.

Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association’s (SIMSA) hosted a SaskEnergy procurement event for SIMSA’s members and others. The event focused on SaskEnergy’s upcoming RFP for skids.

The Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association (SIMSA) has prepared this set of “Gold Standard Debriefing Guidelines” for SaskPower, outlining ways the corporation could better meet the needs of SIMSA members as well as all other suppliers, in the area of Supplier Development. Specifically, a debriefing is an opportunity for non-selected suppliers to learn what they have done well and what they can do better.

SIMSA brought its members face-to-face with industry-leading procurement and Government persons – including Premier Scott Moe - during two events at the Global Petroleum Show (GPS) in Calgary, June 12^th, 2019.

The Saskatchewan Industrial and Mining Suppliers Association’s (SIMSA) held its AGM on May 23rd in Saskatoon. The event featured the election of 5 new Board members, a major update on SIMSA initiatives, and a keynote presentation by Lawrence Berthelet, VP Capital and Engineering, for the Mosaic Potash Business Unit. And to add even further value to the event, Crystal Steciuk - Director of Strategic Procurement – also attended from Mosaic.
