Mining Supplier Trade Association Canada (MSTA CANADA) and Saskatchewan Industrial & Mining Suppliers Association Inc (SIMSA) commence a partnership.

The Mining Supplier Trade Association Canada (MSTA CANADA) and Saskatchewan Industrial & Mining Suppliers Association Inc (SIMSA) have commenced a strategic partnership by signing an MoU.  The MoU will see MSTA CANADA benefits extend to SIMSA members and allow SIMSA to use the MSTA CANADA as a hyper-focused international business arm.

The MoU is also the first step towards building a pan-Canadian network of mining suppliers. “As the national association representing the Mining Supply and Services (MSS) sector, I am very pleased to formally establish our already great collaborative relationship with SIMSA and look forward to further strengthen our relationship and better serve our respective members” said Ryan McEachern, Managing Director of MSTA CANADA.

The MoU will see the two Associations collaborate and develop strategies that will support commercial opportunities that are mutually beneficial to the member companies of each organization in MSTA CANADA and SIMSA. “By working with the MSTA, SIMSA is able to extend greater value to SIMSA’s members, while maintaining its current initiatives” said Eric Anderson, Executive director of SIMSA.  “It will also build better linkages into mining companies around the world and increase international opportunities for SIMSA members.”
