SIMSA proudly signed a memorandum of understanding with the Canadian Nuclear Association at CNAWest last week. The two organisations will work together to build a vibrant nuclear supply chain in Saskatchewan, as well as nationally and globally. The CNA’s President and CEO George Christidis signed the agreement with SIMSA’s Executive Director Eric Anderson.
SIMSA also recognises the incredible support provided to the entire sector by Cameco Corporation’s CEO Tim Gitzel and President Grant Isaac throughout the entire event. Further, as was noted by several of our eastern Canadian’ friends, the multi-day attendance and participation by our Premier Scott Moe and Ministers Warren Kaeding and Jeremy Harrison is not common across Canada.
Also, thank you to the CNAs Snigdh Baunthiyal and Emma Hogeterp for helping us coordinate so many pieces along the way.
